Our Mission
Giving homeless dogs a 2nd Chance, my 1 acre fenced facility serves as a sanctuary for dogs on death row and dogs shut down in shelters to come and decompress, play with other dogs in playgroups, and learn to be a dog again.
Adoption Policy
I have a questionnaire the potential adopter needs to fill out. A potential adopter filling out the form doesn't guarantee adoption. The adopter needs to permit a home check. If the adopter is from out of town or state, they must come here to meet the dog first, I won't send a dog because someone sees their picture and thinks they'll like them. I need to see their interaction (the human and the dog) because I know these dogs and I know their personalities. I need to see if it's going to be a good fit. This is the home these dogs will have for the rest of their lives, so I've got to be cognizant of the needs and concerns of these dogs.
