Our Mission
Underdog! Rescue was founded in March 2010 by the former director of the Flathead County Animal Shelter in Kalispell, MT. Inheriting a high-kill municipal shelter with a reputation for being the last stop for the valley's unwanted pets, a small group of volunteers and employees turned it into a safe haven full of love and second chances virtually overnight. Underdog! was founded to continue working towards a No-Kill Montana, a goal that might have seemed unattainable just a few years ago. We invite you to help us make Montana the Last Best Place to be a Homeless Pet.
Adoption Policy
We house all our rescued pets in foster homes. We are always looking for more volunteers to assist in foster care. For appointments to visit any of the pets on this site please email or call at any time!
