Our Mission

Our Nonprofit mission is to rescue abandoned and lost animals in Stone County, advocate for the compassionate treatment of animals to ensure the health and safety of Stone County residents and animals alike, and to offer financial assistance for animals in need of vetting, food, or pet supplies.

Adoption Policy

They can fill out an application and we will review it to confirm they are meeting the requirements and vet reference and/or personal reference check the family. Then someone from our rescue will contact them to follow up with any additional questions or information needed to decide if the animal will be a good fit. If it's determined that the home sounds like a good fit the adopters may then schedule an in person meet and greet. Following a successful meet and greet one of our volunteers or the foster will complete a home inspection. Upon approval of a safe and secure home, fence, and set up for the animal the adoption fee can be paid, contract signed, and animal released to the new owners. Microchips will then be transferred into the new owner's name(s).
