Its our mission to provide a safe haven for special needs animals, and animals in need of a great forever home. We also help low-income and elderly Lake area residents with emergency pet care needs. PLEASE CHECK OUT ONLINE OR CALL FOR AVAILABLE PETS TO JOIN YOUR FAMILY.  OUR PETS ARE CONSTANTLY CHANGING, SO PLEASE CALL NOW!   Founded in 1999 by four women, the Blue Moon Aninmal Sanctuary is dedicated to the welfare of companion animals at the Lake of the Ozarks.  We provide a safe haven and permanent home to approximately 65 special needs animals who have been deemed "unadoptable" by society. 100% of your donation goes directly to help animals in need at the Lake. We at BLUEMOON SANCTUARY are volunteer based. No one lives in a cage; instead, they have free reign in their foster homes. We are a 501(c)3 organization - your donations are tax deductible!
