Our Mission
The purpose of PAWS is to educate and promote pet health and welfare and to provide adoption services in partnership with the City of Fayette Dog Pound. We provide medical care to strays and to dogs in the pound. We provide transportation and funding help for owned pets to receive low cost spay/neutering. In conjunction with a local Feral Cat Ordinance, PAWS traps and transports stray and feral cats for spay, neuter, and vaccinations. fayettepaws@gmail.com
Adoption Policy
Potential adopters fill out an adoption questionnaire that provides us information about the household and likely fit for the adoption. Upon adoption, a contract is filled out by the adopter and PAWS representative or foster on behalf of PAWS. Animals are advertised in our local newspaper and our Facebook page. We also hold adoption events at our local PetSmart occasionally.
