Operation Dog Tag
Our Mission
To engage and unite animal lovers committed to ending the plight of shelter animals and to provide collective solutions/ massive action teams to help end shelter euthanizations. We serve the dogs in high kill shelters by helping rescues minimize costs. Operation Dog Tag provides cost saving foster, transport and logistics services through a network of military families in the area of Fort Benning, Georgia. (this is our predominant mission)
In Emergency situations, i.e. sick dogs or when there are dogs in imminent danger or need, we will step in, and work as a rescue group to provide medical help and find adopters.
Adoption Policy
Vet Reference check and Phone Call to potential adopter after the adoption application has been received.
Home check by one of our representatives, or with one of our rescue partners in the adopters area.
Continued contact with adopters to share with the fosters and other that have helped them along the way
We work with the adopters if things are difficult, and offer suggestions but will take the dog back from adopter with no ill-will
