Our Mission

Pope County Humane Society was established in 1985 and incorporated in 1987. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, dedicated to caring for lost, abandoned and stray animals. We have part-time employees and some very dedicated volunteers that donate their time and money to the needs of our furry friends. Our goal is to prevent cruelty to animals, provide for the welfare of animals and to promote public education for responsible pet ownership.
