Our Mission
To support Shelties and their families in Minnesota. To share information about the Sheltie breed, and flight risk in Shelties. To support families of lost Shelties to successfully reunite with their missing loved one.
Adoption Policy
We adopt locally to the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN metro area. In most cases, a secure physical fence with direct access from the house is required for the dogs in our program due to flight risk and lack of leash experience. The adoption contract requires that the adopted dog will always be on a leash whenever the dog is not in a securely fenced area. https://mnsheltierescue.org/adoptmain
