Our Mission

"Our mission is to provide a temporary safe haven for our animals until we find them permanent homes."

***PLEASE EXCUSE OUR PAGE AT THIS TIME, WE ARE CURRENTLY SWITCHING OVER TO A NEW MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. UNTIL THE CHANGE HAS BEEN COMPLETED, NOT ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE ANIMALS WILL APPEAR ON THIS PAGE***

There are thousands of homeless animals in Oakland County, who spend days without food, water, or shelter. Our shelter is utlized for those animals to be provided with vet care, love, and nutrition to match them with their forever homes. A major reason for animals being homeless is a direct result in lack of spaying/neutering pets to prevent the growing problem of animal overpopulation. Licensing your pets is also a great way to ensure that they won't become homeless too if they should ever get lost.
