My Journey Home Dog Rescue
180 Flowing Well Road SE
Kalkaska, MI, 49646
Our Mission
To offer temporary housing, medical care, behavioral support and emotional care for dogs during the search for a loving home. My Journey Home isn't just a name. It's a belief that every dog deserves a second chance, a safe place, and a forever home.
Adoption Policy
The adoption process requires an application be completed, a phone interview, vet and personal references, and a home visit if possible. Everyone in the home (people and pets) must meet the potential new family member prior to adoption. There is an adoption contract that needs to be executed - adopters are required to agree that any rehoming of the pet must be done through us.
