Our Mission
Here at Kittens In The Mitten, we are devoted to the cats on the streets of Michigan. We specialize in rescuing abandoned neonatal kittens, pregnant and nursing queens, CH cats and kittens, FIP cats, and other cats and kittens with special needs. We are also one of the few rescues that will work with feral cats. Together as a community, we will help put a stop to the overpopulation and suffering of stray, feral and abandoned kitties!

Adoption Policy
Adopters are required to fill out an application and be approved prior to meeting any cats or kittens, unless we are doing an event. All current animals in the adopters home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. This will be verified through a vet check. If the adopter rents, we will require proof from the landlord that the animal is allowed on the premises.
