Our Mission
Maybel's Legacy is a nonprofit animal rescue organization based in Dorr, Michigan. Our mission is to honor the life of every animal we rescue, giving them a second chance at a loving home. Through our adoption services, foster care program, and medical assistance fund, we strive to provide the best care and support for animals in need.
Adoption Policy
We do require our adopters to own their own home and be 18 years of age or older. If you have current animals, we will do a veterinarian check for vaccination status, spay/neuter status and recommendation to adopt. Fences are not REQUIRED to adopt a dog but a plan for containment is.
