Maine Lab Rescue
Our Mission
Maine Lab Rescue is an all-breed dog and cat rescue, with a focus on Labs and Lab mixes. Animals are rescued from high kill shelters or other undesirable circumstances in the south. Before arriving in Maine, they receive vaccinations and other vet care.
As a foster based rescue, our dogs and cats looking for homes reside with families rather than in a shelter or kennel. In some cases this will be the first home they've ever lived in, fosters help them adjust to their new surroundings and care for them in the same way they care for their own pets.Â
