R & T Loving Paws

We are R&T (Rescue and Train) Loving Paws. We rescue dogs from high kill shelters and transport them to their forever homes. Our program is a family-based setting and safe haven for all dogs, cats, birds and critters. We are a large military family with lots of kids, cats, and dogs that are exposed to the family dynamics of love, compassion, rules, values and most of all where dogs, cats and everyone together learns to be a family. We rehabilitate our rescue dogs and cats to trust, bond and work together for them to feel love, have a purpose and be part of the family again. And to do that they become apart of our family – that includes car rides, going places, beach outings, often times doctor’s appointments, grocery stores, hospitals, shopping stores, even vacations and many more. We get out into the community to learn manners, respect, discipline, trust, and to become a service dog and an overall best companion they can be. They learn to get along with each other, cats and even chickens too. All our dogs are treated as family – they sleep inside and spend their time where we spend ours. We believe every dog, cat and critter has a purpose and deserves life, to be treated humane, feel love, know compassion, and be happy, most of all, to be family. After all, they bring all those qualities to people and we learn much from them as they displayed every time such unconditional love and selflessness qualities, that we reinforce with security and independence to express their true self as a loyal companion and forever friend. Our family – is all about second chances and giving back to the community, learning compassion, responsibility, values and an appreciation for life and knowing worth of working together as a team, solving conflicts, understanding problem solving and appreciating life, it’s blessing, love, giving true sacrifice with a sense of pride, making a difference and saving lives. That’s our rescue’s motto – making a difference EVERYDAY!!
