Our Mission
Beyond the Paws is a foster-based 501(c)(3) animal rescue dedicated to saving, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. Our mission is to provide love, medical care, and second chances to pets who have been abandoned, neglected, or surrendered, while educating the community on responsible pet ownership, spay/neuter programs, and the importance of adoption. We strive to match every animal with the perfect forever home, ensuring they thrive beyond the paws that first carried them to us.
Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is an application to start. We check vet references, 3 other references (not related to them) and run back ground checks to look for animal neglect/abuse. A copy of drivers license is required to ensure the name is accurate for back ground check purposes. We then conduct a home visit and a meet and greet with the animal as well as meet and greets with their current animals if they have any. After the meet and greet, they go home and talk it over and if it’s a good fit adoption is confirmed with a signed contract.
