SOUTHWICK ANIMAL CONTROL FACILITY IS GROWING!!!Â
Southwick Animal Shelter welcomes the Town of Agawam!!
The Town of Agawam will be sharing shelter space with us. Animal Control Officer Allison Strong will be bringing stray animals to our facility for safe keeping until they can be returned to their owners. In the event that animals are not claimed they will be placed for adoption through our facility.Â

Southwick Animal Control Facility is a municipally run stray animal pound that is shared by the communities of Southwick and Agawam, MA
The care and expenses of the animals in our facility is funded solely by donations
Adoption Policy
ADOPTION FEES:
Cats/Kittens:Â $140.00 includes Leukemia and Feline Aids testing, age appropriate vaccines, deworming, spay/neuter and microchip
Dogs:Â $160.00 Heartworm testing, age appropriate vaccines, deworming, spay/neuter and microchip
No animals leave the shelter without being spayed/neutered. This is non negotiable!
The shelter is open to the public Monday through Friday 8am-2pm
Appointments can be made for after hours and weekends.Â
Please remember that this facility is operated by Animal Control Officers. There are times that we will be out of the office for emergencies. If you stop by during our open hours and we are not there we apologize. But, duty calls!Â
We are located behind the Southwick Police Department, 11 Depot Street, Southwick, MA. 01077. Use the driveway between the fire station and police department. PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!! Emergency vehicles use this driveway!Â
