Our Mission
Metairie Kittens rescues kittens and cats of all ages. Everyone is fully vetted and sterilized. We also participate in our local TNR (trap, neuter, release) program and also feed cat colonies. Our goal is to spay and neuter as many cats as possible to reduce the population.
Adoption Policy
Potential adopters fill out an application
Reference checks are conducted
The adopter can come meet the cat and take on a trial basis if they are pre-qualified
Home checks are conducted
Follow-up calls/visits are conducted
Adoption fee is collected
