Unwanted Feline Organization

Unwanted Feline Organization is a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue dedicated to improving the lives of cats and other animals in Louisiana. Our mission is to provide compassionate, long-term care for unadopted, special needs animals, while actively facilitating adoptions for homeless cats and kittens. We strive to create a kinder world for all creatures, extending our care to other animals in need.

Adoption Policy

1. All potential adopters must fill out an application. 2. Completing an application does not guarantee approval. 3. A veterinary reference is required. 4. First-time pet owners must provide an additional reference. 5. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason. 6. We will strive to match adopters with pets that are a good fit. We may decline a specific pet-adopter match if it's not deemed suitable, but we will try to facilitate a suitable match 7.Foster parents have input in the adoption process, as they know the pets best.
