Murray/Calloway County Animal Shelter
Our Mission
The purpose of the Murray-Calloway County Animal Shelter is to provide immediate shelter and care for any and all homeless or abused animals within Calloway County, and either re-unite these animals with their owners, find them new homes, or shelter them until such time as they are redeemed, adopted or humanely dealt with.
Adoption Policy
Adoption fee for cats/kittens and dogs/puppies is $40 this includes a microchip. If they are of age to be spayed/neutered, this must be scheduled upon adoption. If they are too young to be spayed/neutered, a refundable deposit of $80 is required to ensure that these babies DO get spayed/neutered.
The Shelter director must approve all applications on animals. You may adopt if you already have an approved application on file.
