Our Mission
Blue Ridge Animal Rescue & Sanctuary is an animal rescue guided by the principals of compassion, integrity and dedication! We seek to work with and educate the community in order to make a positive impact on pet overpopulation and, through our work, we rescue, nurture, rehabilitate and place companion animals into loving, committed homes!
Adoption Policy
All prospective animals ready for adoption begin with an application filled out by a prospective adopter. Taking into account the animal's specific needs, applications are taken in the order they are received to match appropriate families with the needs of that specific animal. Once an approval is made and the potential adopter contacted, a meet and greet with the entire family and, if possible, includes the adopters current animals as well. If the meet and greet goes well the animal may go home with that potential adopter.
