Our Mission
The Greene County Humane Society is a 501c3 Animal Shelter Organization, Incorporated in 1984.
We believe second hand animals make 1st Rate Pets!
All animals available for Adoption stay at our facility until they find their fur-ever home. We do not euthanize for space.
The GCHS is Not Municipally Owned or Operated.

Adoption Policy
All adoptable animals in our facility are prepared for adoption & receive the following routine care:
30 Day Flea Control
 Puppy Shot or Adult Booster, Both Canine & Feline
 De-Worm Suspension/Tablet
Heart Worm TestingÂ
Spay/Neuter
Microchip
Open: Monday - Saturday 11am-4pm.
