Our Mission
Rides 4 Paws Rescue exists to save, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs who are overlooked, at risk, or out of options. Our mission is to intervene where the need is greatest—pulling animals from high-kill shelters, owner surrenders, medical and behavioral hardship cases, and urgent rescue situations—and giving them a real chance at a stable, lasting future.
We are committed to providing every animal in our care with safe shelter, proper veterinary treatment, behavioral support, and individualized attention in a home-like environment. We believe that time, structure, and compassion can transform even the most vulnerable dogs into adoptable companions when given the right support.
Rides 4 Paws Rescue operates with a focus on responsible placement, long-term welfare, and ethical rescue practices. We prioritize thoughtful matching of dogs with adopters, transparent operations, and ongoing accountability to ensure that each placement is truly in the best interest of the animal.
Adoption Policy
Our goal is to place each dog in a home that is the right long-term match for both the dog and adopter. Interested adopters complete a thorough application and screening process that may include reference checks, veterinary history, landlord verification when applicable, and detailed conversations about lifestyle, experience, and expectations. We carefully consider the individual needs, temperament, behavior, and energy level of each dog before approving placement. Some dogs may require specific environments, such as experienced handlers, another compatible dog in the home, or homes without young children. Adoption fees help offset veterinary and rescue expenses. All adopters must agree to provide proper veterinary care, keep the dog as an indoor family member, and return the dog to our rescue if they can no longer keep them.
