A Happy Dogs Life is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs in need.
Our mission is to provide every dog with a safe, loving, and happy home so they can live their best life. We aim to work collaboratively with the community, local shelters, and volunteers to positively impact the lives of dogs and promote responsible pet ownership.
Every dog rescued comes with one year of behavioral support. Should any unwanted behaviors arise, or you add a new pet, person, or baby to your family, we are here to support you and your dog. Often in these situations, people seek to rehome a dog, our goal is to help resolve the issues, support proper introductions, and keep the dog in his forever home with you- their forever family.
Adoption Policy
Adopters will fill out an application, from there we will reach out to do reference and vet checks. Then we will schedule a home visit/meet and greet with the dog. We do require a home visit with all potential adopters and we usually will bring the dog and have it be a meet and greet at the same time. If all goes well with the home visit/meet and greet, then we can set up a trial period with the pet in the home. Our rescue requires a minimum 48hour and maximum 2 week trial period to ensure fit for the pet as well as the family.
