Our Mission
In a crowded shelter, a pregnant mom and her litter are often the most vulnerable ones there — too fragile for the noise and stress of a busy kennel, and usually the first ones running out of time. We step in, moving her into a quiet foster home where she can carry, deliver, and raise her babies safely. Cats, kittens, and dogs of all ages/sexes are welcome too.
Adoption Policy
1. Application & screening
Written application covering household composition, other pets, landlord/rental approval if renting, vet reference, personal references.
In-person home visit before final approval — catches mismatches an application

2. Matching, not first-come-first-served
Approve based on fit for that specific animal's needs (energy level, other pets, kids' ages) rather than just "first application wins."
3. Trial period / return policy
A clear, judgment-free return policy: the animal always comes back to you, never gets rehomed independently or surrendered elsewhere.
4. Post-adoption terms (usually in a signed adoption contract, separate from the application)
Spay/neuter, vaccination, and microchip already done before adoption.
No declawing (if you ever place cats)
