Our Mission
The Franklin County Humane Society is a registered 501.c.3 nonprofit organization. Our members are a committed, thoughtful group of volunteers who provide assistance for unwanted, lost and/or neglected animals by providing humane education, veterinary care, and animal rescue. We strive to reduce the number euthanized (healthy) pets in Franklin County due to overpopulation. Through donations collected and awarded grants, we strive to provide various support services for pet owners of Franklin County and actively encourage pet population control through spay and neuter.

Adoption Policy
We verify past veterinary care for animals owned.
Rental agreements are verified prior to adoption approval. We strive to make the best possible match with the adopter based on animal personality and needs!
