Our Mission
Tazewell County Animal Control serves a vast majority of municipalities in Tazewell County, IL. Our goal is to provide safety and shelter to strays and owner surrenders alike. We are not a no-kill shelter. We are overpopulated and trying everything we can to get our animals adopted. Please consider adopting from your local municipality shelter. You're truly saving a life.
Adoption Policy
All adopters can come into the shelter from 8a-3:30p to fill out an application. With an approved application, adopters can request to see dogs/cats they're interested in. Adopters with dogs already in the home will have to bring them in for a meet and greet before the adoption is approved. Cat adoptions are $60 and dog adoptions are $80.
