Our Mission
Friendly & FeralCat Rescue has recently adopted a NEW name! Friendly and Furry Cat Rescue; because we no longer are able to help with feral cats. We are still an all volunteer, no-kill, non-profit organization working to find loving, permanent homes for the cats in our care. Our cats are housed in foster homes or on the campus of the Golf Rose's Animal Hospital in Schaumburg and we provide love and care until they are adopted. All cats onsite are fully vetted and microchipped.
We are a small rescue with limited resources and we rely heavily on donations and sponsors. We DO NOT trap cats. Rather we get our cats from local animal control agencies that would otherwise have been euthanized. All of our cats are fixed, vetted and socialized before they put up for adoption.

Click to view our cats and kittens currently available for adoption. Cats are on display and available for viewing during regular business hours on the campus of the Golf Rose's Animal Hospital in Schaumburg.
Contact Ken Mintz, Director, with questions or inquiries about how to proceed with adoption process. We will be happy to arrange an appointment to meet any of the cats you are interested in adopting.

Adoption Fees
We charge an adoption fee to help us cover the cost of the veterinary care provided prior to adoption. All cats adopted from Friendly & Feral Cat Rescue have already received their vaccinations and microchips.
Adult Cats: $145
Senior Cats: $115
Kittens: $165
We offer a discount for adoptees adopting two or more cats/kittens.
We accept cash or personal check only.
No Credit Cards Accepted.
