Our Mission
Survivors for Strays is a new, public benefit, nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes. It is made up of people who are Survivors of domestic abuse, sexual abuse, and cancer because their pets / companion animals helped them get through their personal ordeals, and they want to give back. This organization will prevent cruelty to animals through education and the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of homeless, neglected, and abused cats and dogs, and will provide sanctuary/hospice for those that are not adopted. Additionally, this organization will provide a temporary safe haven for cats and dogs belonging to victims of domestic and sexual abuse in order for those victims to seek safety.
