The Greater Chicago Ferret Association (GCFA) is a non-for-profit ferret shelter and club that exists to educate the public about the domestic ferret as pets as well as the care and shelter of neglected, abused or abandoned ferrets.
2021 marks our 34th year helping ferrets. In the past 34 years we have helped over 9,000 ferrets!
Adoption Policy
GCFA follows strict guidelines when we adopt ferrets out of our care. Our goal is to make sure they are going to a loving and FOREVER home.
Our adoption program is the heart and soul of the GCFA shelter.
As much as we love every one of the ferrets that comes through our doors, we know that the ultimate goal is to get them all back out those doors and into a loving FOREVER home!
