Our Mission
Wagging Hearts is a 100% foster-based, non-profit rescue organization. Our mission is to rescue abandoned, neglected, and stray companion animals. To work to secure a better life for them in loving homes, and provide a lifetime of support to animals that remain in our care. We are an all volunteer animal rescue organization that believes all lives are worth saving and vow to provide our animals with the care that they need.
As a true no-kill organization, Wagging Hearts provides care for our animals until they find their forever homes. Animals that are not fortunate enough to find the right family will stay in our care for the rest of their natural lives. We do not have “time limit".
Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our wonderful pets! Our process is designed to ensure the right match between you and your new furry family member. We appreciate your time and patience as we move through this process. It is our goal to make sure that you and your adopted pet will be happy together for years to come!
Step 1: Find a pet that you would like to welcome into your family. Haven’t selected one yet? Take some time to review our cats and dogs available for adoption!
Step 2: We require all potential adopters to complete the Wagging Hearts Adoption Application and submit it for review. Even if you aren't certain about a specific animal, the application process will get you approved for when you DO see your new family member.
