Stephenson County Animal Control gets new animals every week so if you don't see anything your looking for keep checking. We also take the city stray when there time is up at the city pound. When we have room we take in owner surrenders. The folloing fees apply for dogs. Adoption- $20 the day of Rabies and Registration- will be needed within 10 days Microchip- $15 also done in 10 days Spay/Neuter- must be done within 30 days *all spay and neuters get an additional $50 off if dog was a city or county stray. Cats are free to good home. We currently have many cats that are utd on shots, and alter. Some cats are front declawed when they come in.
