Our Mission
Our mission at Nelrose Rescue is to rescue and provide a safe haven for small dogs in need. We are dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership, educating the community on the importance of spaying/neutering, and finding permanent loving homes for the dogs in our care. We provide expert care, rehabilitation, and socialization to help each of our dogs and their forever families reach their full potential and live happy and fulfilled lives. Nelrose Rescue is a 501c3 charitable, non-profit organization. 100% of the donations we receive go towards the vetting and rehabilitation of our dogs.
Adoption Policy
Step 1: Complete an application!
If you are interested in adopting a dog, please complete an application. We take placing dogs very seriously and cannot guarantee that you will receive the dog you are interested in. We consider all applications to make sure we are placing each dog with the best possible family.?
Step 2: Chat with the foster parents!
Approved applications will be sent to the foster parents of dogs that would be a good fit for that potential adopter. Adopters will have the opportunity to ask questions and chat with to the foster parent. If you are still interested, you can set up a time to meet the dog.
Step 3: Meet the dog!
Meet the dog in person. Meeting location can be whatever is convenient for both the potential adopter and the foster parent.
Step 4: Adopt!
Congratulations and happy gotcha day! Adoption fees (below) are due a the time of adoption. Dogs will go home with their vet records and a toy from the rescue. You can plan on someone from the rescue team to check in about 72 hours after adoption. Welcome to the Nelrose family!
