Our Mission
Double J Dog Ranch, Inc. is a sanctuary for special needs animals. Located on 50 acres in beautiful North Idaho, the ranch is focused on the care of the permanment sanctuary residents, as well as training and re-homing other special needs dogs that come into our care. It has been our experience that if you train these dogs prior to adoption, the success rate sky rockets! We are a non-proft and offer a 'home enviornment' vs. institutitional living for our animals.Â
Education is also top on our list.  The general public needs to know a dog that may happen to be deaf or blind for example, does not know that they are any different and make wonderful pets. There is no question about the 'quality of life' these dogs have, they are busy living their lives to the fullest!    Â

Adoption Policy
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us via email or telephone to obtain an application. We do not have set adoption fees, but rather ask for a donation to the ranch if it is within your means to do so. It is most important to our organization to find the perfect fit for the animal, not the adoption fee.
