Ruff Redemption Rescue, Inc.
Our Mission
We are in need of foster families in or near Woodstock, GA! Fostering a homeless dog is extremely rewarding and cost the foster family only love and a little time . Our foster moms and dads serve as temporary families for our rescue dogs until adopted. They play a valuable role in training and socializing puppies as early as possible. Crates, food, and puppy pads are provided to each foster family. Our founders, Alicia and Leah, are only a phone call away, day or night, for support.
If you would like to save a dog’s life by fostering, please email us at fosters@ruffredemption.org.Â
We are a 501c3 non profit licensed Georgia rescue that strives to decrease the homeless dog population through community education, rescue, spay/neuter and adoption.
Adoption Policy
Thank you for wanting to adopt a Ruff Redemption Dog. All of our available dogs are in foster homes; we do not have a shelter. Our foster families are located throughout metro Atlanta with most residing in Cherokee county. An application must be submitted and approved prior to scheduling a meet. Most of our dogs require single family homes with fenced yards. Applications are available at ruffredemption.org under the Adopt tab.
At minimum, our dogs receive the following prior to adoption, heart worm/flea prevention at intake and every 30 days while in our care, spay/neuter, a minimum of 2 distemper/parvo boosters, rabies vaccination (if over 15 weeks of age), broad spectrum deworming and microchip with registration. A heart worm screen is performed for dogs 7 months of age and older. Crate training and potty training begin at time of intake. Depending on the dog's age and length of stay in foster care, she/he may or may not be fully house trained.
