Our Mission
Big Bear Rescue & TNR, Inc. is a Georgia-based nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing cruelty to animals by humanely reducing the population of homeless and feral cats through Trap–Neuter–Return (TNR), providing sanctuary and lifelong care for cats who cannot be returned or adopted, supporting access to spay and neuter services, and educating the public on responsible, compassionate animal care.
Adoption Policy
Big Bear Rescue is committed to placing pets in safe, loving, and permanent homes. Our adoption process is designed to ensure each animal is matched with an adopter whose lifestyle, home environment, and experience are a good fit for that pet’s needs. We review applications carefully, may ask follow-up questions, and reserve the right to decline an adoption if we do not feel the placement is in the animal’s best interest. Our goal is always to make thoughtful, responsible matches that set both the pet and adopter up for long-term success.
