Adoption Policy
Step 1: Submit an Adoption Application
Start by filling out our online Adoption form or request a printed version. This helps us understand your lifestyle, home environment, and what type of pet would best fit your family.
You will need to provide:
A valid photo ID
Veterinary reference (if you currently own or previously owned pets)
Landlord approval if you rent
Names and ages of all household members
Information about your current pets
Step 2: Application Review & Interview
Our team will review your application within 3–5 business days. If the animal is a good match, we will contact you for a short phone or in-person interview to go over your responses and adoption expectations.
Step 3: Meet & Greet
You’ll be invited to meet the animal(s) you're interested in. For dog adoptions, we may schedule a home visit or introduce the pet in a neutral location. All household members (including other pets, where applicable) must participate in this step.
Step 4: Home Check (as needed)
We reserve the right to perform a virtual or in-person home check to ensure it is a safe and appropriate environment for the animal.
Step 5: Adoption Contract & Fee
