Our Mission
Our Mission
Our specialty is to help dogs whose owners have passed away. We find these particular dogs by word of mouth. We try to ensure these dogs, often elderly themselves, do not end up in a shelter. We are only able to help one dog at a time.
We are a tiny rescue. We are not yet a non-profit. We are not tax-exempt.
We operate using our own funds.
Adoption Policy
We have never listed on Petfinder before.
2 of our previous lab rescues have ended up with people we know, due to word of mouth.
This enabled us to check in with them and the dog regularly.
Our current (and past) process has been to list the dog on Rescue Me website.
This was followed by a phone interview, vet reference check, and then a home visit.
