Little Bit Of Heaven Rescue
Our Mission
Little Bit of Heaven Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats and dogs in Whitfield County, Georgia, and surrounding areas. As the Owner and Operator, Theresa Persaud has been actively involved in animal rescue since 2008. As a non-profit entity, our ability to rescue, provide veterinary care, and rehome animals heavily relies on donations. Prior to adoption, each cat/dog must receive necessary vaccinations, testing, and spaying/neutering. What distinguishes us from other rescues is our requirement for FeLV and FIV testing, as well as vaccination against FeLV/FIV, FVRCP, and Rabies for each cat before adoption. The average cost per cat is approximately $180+, excluding food and supplies, which totals 300-500+ cats annually, not including dogs. We adhere to a no-euthanasia policy, and when donations are insufficient, Theresa personally covers expenses to save lives.
