Our Mission

The mission of the Humane Society of Northwest Georgia is to reduce the number of healthy animals euthanized in Whitfield County through the continuation of our successful adoption program, aggressive spay/neuter program, promotion of responsible pet ownership and humane education. The Humane Society of Northwest Georgia, Inc. is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization. It is comprised mainly of volunteers.

Adoption Policy

1. View our adoptable pets and their bios online at www.hsnwga.org and/or come for a tour at our shelter Fridays, 3-5pm or Saturdays, 11-2pm 2. If you are interested in adopting you must submit an adoption application online via our website at www.hsnwga.org. 3. If your application is a good match for the animal you are interested in, and your application is approved, you will be contacted to come and meet the animal with your entire household and any other dogs you may have . 4. Adoption is finalized and your new furry goes home with you!
