Forgotten Coast Animal Rescue, Inc.
Forgotten Coast Animal Rescue is compromised of dedicated volunteers who are committed to rescue abandoned companion animals and companion animals from high kill shelters. FCAR will provide immediate services for vetting, medical care, supplies, house checks, transportation and boarding and will provide safe and nurturing foster homes where these companion animals can heal, both mentally and physically, until a rescue or permanent home is found through our adoption screening process. It is the mission of Forgotten Coast Animal Rescue to address, educate, rescue, and provide aid and relief to eradicate neglected, abused, and unwanted companion animals at risk of euthanasia and homelessness throughout the United States. It is our duty to be available when we are capable. It is our purpose to provide and promote the importance of proper care, consistent vaccinations, and spaying and neutering of domesticated animals to decrease the growing population of companion animals which increases the burden on government-run animal facilities.
Forgotten Coast Animal Rescue, inc. attempts to work with everyone who is interested in adopting an animal and giving it a new forever home, however FCAR does reserve the right to refuse an adoption application for reasons including, but not limited to: falsified information on application, current identification and address cannot be verified or if the adoption is not in the best interest of the animal and the adopter.
If a potential adopter is interested in scheduling an appointment to see our animals, we ask to submit an adoption application first. We will review their application and contact the applicant within 48 hours to set up an appointment. We work with all interested parties on a first-come-first-served basis.
