Our Mission
At Kahu K-9 Rescue, our mission is to protect and advocate for animals in need through compassion, education, and community support. “Kahu” means guardian, protector, and honored caretaker — a meaning that reflects the heart of our rescue. We are dedicated to reuniting lost and stray animals with their families whenever possible, promoting responsible pet ownership through spay and neuter advocacy, and providing animals with a safe, loving environment while they await their forever homes. Through faith, compassion, and service, we strive to give every animal a second chance at safety, healing, and love.
Adoption Policy
We look for stable forever homes. We do vet checks, home checks and personal reference checks as well.
We have the right to refuse an adoption for any reason.
