Our Mission

The core of what we do at Finding Pasha is rescue, foster, care for, and adopt out cats and kittens. We do this to prevent them from dying on the streets or being euthanized at Miami Shelters. We rescue cats and kittens from a variety of situations. Most live in our volunteers’ homes and those volunteers foster them until we can find permanent homes for them. Some who need special care, are elderly, or are unlikely to be adopted live at the Cat Sanctuary.
Our volunteers care for all types of cats and kittens. We care for orphaned and abandoned kittens that need to be bottle-fed around the clock, moms with litters, cats that need socialization, and sick or injured animals. We care for the animals until they are old enough, healthy enough, and socialized enough. At that point, our volunteers work to find amazing, forever homes for them.

Adoption Policy

Foster-based and volunteer rescue. As they await their permanent home, we care for ill or injured cats and get them ready for a better life. Several cats that were either abandoned, mistreated, neglected, or unable to care for by their mother or previous owners are available for adoption through Finding Pasha. Giving a kitten or adult cat a loving, secure home can literally save their life while improving your home life. Still, we have a rigorous application procedure to determine if the adopter is prepared. Many times, they are not prepared. Adoption is something that Finding Pasha is quite particular about.
To lessen the environmental effect of adoption, we check houses remotely using Zoom or Whatsapp.

Whether the adopter lives on a busy road determines whether they can adopt an indoor cat. Over the first few weeks after adoption, keep windows and doors closed.
Any cat flaps, even broken ones, should be closed by adopters since new cats can easily escape. We'll try our hardest to find a cat that meets your needs.
