Our Mission
Paws Fur Recovery Dog Rescue
Committed to giving second chances to dogs in need
Paws Fur Recovery Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization empowering dog-lovers to band together and rescue and rehabilitate dogs. As a dog rescue we take in abandoned canines at high-risk of euthanasia from local kill shelters. We also support our community by taking in owner surrenders from local families that are no longer able to care for their dogs.
We know first-hand how vital a canine companion can be when a person is struggling emotionally and how much purpose a dog can give to someone who needs it. We are passionate about helping these dogs recover and find their way into new loving homes. And they help us just as much as we help them!
Adoption Policy

If you submit an inquiry through Petfinder you will receive an automated response referring you to fill out an adoption application for the dog in which you are interested in. The information obtained on our online adoption application provides us with everything we need to make sure any dog is the right fit for your home and family situation. We will reply in 1-3 business days on all APPLICATIONS. We do not respond to petfinder inquiries.

Before you decide to adopt a pet, please consider the effort and funds necessary to properly care for and maintain a pet for the long haul. Responsible pet ownership requires a commitment to provide care and companionship for the life of the animal. The decision to adopt a pet is an important one. In order to ensure that you and your pet will be happy for years to come, we need to take time to discuss your animal and your individual needs and personality traits. When completing an adoption application, honesty is the best answer for all involved. There are no wrong answers. This is to ensure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you and your family.
