Helpingpaws22 Inc. is a non-profit 501C3 rescue in SW Florida. Our mission is to save dogs that are scheduled to be euthanized at various local and surrounding shelters. We are here to help the local shelter & community when in need to save an animal.. Helping Paws 22 was founded by Melanie Agnello on March 13, 1987 and has saved over two thousand dogs/cats by placing them in loving new homes. We are a fully volunteer-driven organization that welcomes dogs to rescue from unfortunate situations and houses them in volunteer foster homes while preparing them for adoption placement. We focus on evaluating each dog's needs, provide high quality veterinary care, and work towards finding them a life long match with an adoption placement.
