Our Mission
Hooves, Paws and Claws Animal Sanctuary of Florida is a no-kill, foster-based rescue for abandoned and unwanted animals. Our goal is to find a loving home for every animal we take in. Those with medical and/or behavioral issues who aren't adopted are able to spend their lives being loved and cared for either at our farm in Myakka City or our satellite facility in west Bradenton.
Adoption Policy
1) Submission of an application is the first step. 2) If the application is approved, a "meet and greet" is scheduled at the Hooves, Paws and Claws facility at which the desired animal is located. 3) If step 2 goes well, the animal is taken to the prospective adopter's home. 4) If the home visit is positive, the family fosters him/her for a period of time to ensure a good "fit." 5) If the placement is successful, the adoption is finalized.
