Our Mission
The Chimera Sanctuary & Rescue is committed to the responsible rescue and permanent placement of dogs in need of exceptional forever homes
Adoption Policy
A formal application must be completed thoroughly and submitted to the rescue for review. Our staff contacts references as provided on application, and will contact Veterinarian listed on application to check on prior health care history with current or previous pets to ensure there have been annual exams and vaccinations. A formal meet and greet with the potential adopters and household members (including any currently owned dogs) and the dog they have applied for is required prior to adoption. If it is a good match for adoptable dog and applicant, and adoption fee and signed contract is required to finalize adoption.
