Safe and Sound Rescue

Our mission is to provide sanctuary-type shelter, care, comfort, exceptional kindness, and compassion, to animals that need special, long-term nurturing due to their prior abusive and/or neglectful lives. We promote gentleness and understanding of these animals. We promote spay and neuter. For adoptable animals, we insure they get into caring, kind, and gentle homes. We are a group of volunteers who help animals as much as possible with our current resources. We are mostly special needs helping with animals coming from difficult past situations. We are a 501 (c) (3) organization and therefore, donors can deduct contributions made to us. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522 of the IRC (Internal Revenue Code).
