    Our Mission

M.E.O.W., Inc. of Litchfield, CT is a non-profit, non-destroy feline welfare organization founded in 1984 and located in Litchfield, Connecticut. Our purpose is to work with the public to eliminate the overpopulation of stray and homeless animals, to be an advocate for the stray and unwanted cat, to improve the quality of life of abandoned cats and to promote the importance of the human-pet animal bond. We have no paid staff and all donations go directly to benefit the rescued felines. With no shelter or extensive system of foster homes, we are not able to accept cats. But the veterinary care support we provide to our rescuers, the independent rescuers with which we work, and other rescue groups enables them to foster, rehabilitate, and place abandoned and homeless felines. We are a 501(c)3 corporation. The plight of the homeless feline continues to be grave. The streets are mean and unsafe and we are passionate about this plight and wish to continue to help all that we can. Your donation and this act of kindness ensures we can continue to come to the aid of the abandoned and homeless felines in our community by providing the financial assistance for their medical rehabilitation. Donations may be mailed to: M.E.O.W., Inc. P. O. Box 999 Litchfield, CT 06759 We ask for your financial support along with your blessings and good wishes. Thank you, Board Of Directors M.E.O.W., Inc. of Litchfield, CT
