Our mission is to promote the welfare and conservation of reptiles and amphibians through education, rescue, and rehabilitation. We strive to increase public understanding and appreciation for these vital members of our ecosystem, and to inspire a sense of responsibility for stewardship of their natural habitats and captive care. Through our initiatives, we are committed to ethical and sustainable practices and to fostering a collaborative community who shares our passion for herpetology.
Here's some information about our adoption process: We believe that every adoption situation is unique, and because of that, we implement an adoption counseling process instead of a standard adoption application. We want each adoption to be a conversation to ensure we find the best fits for both the animals in our care and the adopters! Our adoption fee for any of our rescues is $30 to help us cover the cost of their care and the care of our other rescues. We also have an adoption contract to be signed at the time of adoption.
Our organization is 100% volunteer based.
