Animals have no say in their lives. It is who gets their hands on them first. They have no control if they are beat, neglected, bred, not trained. It is up to us, the human race to protect, serve and support them. And sadly some end up in the wrong hands. Only 15% of animals live in their original home they were first given. This statistic is scary to me. Dogs/cats are just being passed around like it doesn't matter. Spaying and neutering is key! This stops overpopulation, puppy mills, and lets dogs live the lives they were intended for. To be happy, healthy and loved. Not bred over and over until they have nothing left to give or beat, neglected and broken down. In 6 years one unspayed female and her offspring can produce 67,000 dogs.
